Virtual Showcase: Drones are GIS (City of Chattanooga)

The City of Chattanooga has been known to lead the state of Tennessee in innovation and technological advances. The city’s latest push is their UAV/Drone Program. Chattanooga has experienced numerous commercial, residential, and industrial developments in the last 10 years, which has led to an increase in demand for inspectors and engineers.

Jeramy Davis is a GIS Technician and FAA licensed commercial drone pilot who specializes in the generation of visual data and uses a unique perspective alongside geographic information to solve problems. "Through the use of GIS and unmanned aerial systems, we have been able to provide answers to expensive and time-consuming questions."

Join us on Zoom for this exciting presentation on how drones can help shape the future of GIS in local government. This will be our final event of 2021!
