We are pleased to announce a partial return to the in-person general meetings we used to have at the Central Library before the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to COVID, all of our GIS professional development offerings were in-person rather than in virtual/webinar format. Our plan going forward is to offer a mix of webinar and in-person professional development. We will continue to offer webinars, as this allows us to bring you presenters that would not normally be able to travel to Memphis for in-person meetings. On alternating months, we'll meet in-person at the Central Library to feature local presenters as well as other forms of GIS professional development.

For our first in-person general meeting, we’ll start with a recap of the TNGIC Conference (April 12-13), and we’ll follow that with a forum for y'all to bring vexing GIS issues for problem-solving and discussion. Bring your laptop or device, and we'll all bring our thinking caps! Together we may all end up learning some new things. Afterward we'll host a MAGIC After-Hours social at a location to-be-determined for any of y'all who'd like to join us.
