Please join us at the Benjamin Hooks Library for a presentation by Dr. Qiusheng Wu on TennesseeView (TNView), a new remote sensing consortium established in February 2022 based in the Department of Geography at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. TNView is a member of AmericaView, a nationwide, university-based, and state-implemented network that advances Earth observation education through remote sensing science, applied research, workforce development, technology transfer, and community outreach. The mission of TNView is to advance Earth observation research, education, outreach, and workforce development in the state of Tennessee. Currently, TNView has 24 participants from 13 entities across the state of Tennessee, including nine academic institutions, four state and federal government entities, and one private company. Remote sensing researchers and professionals in Tennessee are welcome to join TNView. This talk will give an introduction to TNView and its educational resources.
