This month we are pleased to feature two speakers from the City of Memphis:
James Greenlee, Director of Environmental Maintenance for the City of Memphis, will share how GIS has been integrated for operation and maintenance activities. They have a staff of 150+ and complete a variety of inspections on sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Mary Claire Borys, Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the City of Memphis, Housing and Community Development, will share how they use GIS as a backbone for decision-making and information visualization.
Lindsay Barrios, GIS Specialist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will share a presentation on flood inundation mapping in support of emergency operations.
